In 2026, The Hare Krishna Project launched the UK’s first ever Hare Krishna Celebrancy Service.

Celebrancy services are a growing phenomenon across the country, where special key milestone events in people’s lives are marked by a celebrant – someone who conducts, leads and officiates at such an event.

Such services give individuals complete creative freedom over the venue, format, language, and style of their event.

The Hare Krishna Project provides celebrancy services for the following:​

• A child’s naming service

• Marriages

• Vow renewals

• Memorials

• Life events such as birthdays, graduations and bespoke engagements

Meet the Celebrant​​

​HG Narada das (Nathan Hartley) has been a part of the Hare Krishna (Gaudiya Vaisnava) tradition for over 20 years. He is:

​

• A registered and accredited Hindu Chaplain in the UK

• Brahmin (Sacred Thread) initiated in the Hare Krishna (Gaudiya Vaishnava) tradition​

• An author

• A public speaker

• A charity director

• A creator – he leads one of the UK’s national preaching projects in the Hare Krishna community
